The piping hornbill, with the scientific name Bycanistes fistulator (Cassin, 1850), is a bird that belongs to the hornbill family. This black-and-white species lives in humid forest and second growth habitats across Central and West Africa. Its range extends east from Senegal to Uganda, and south to Angola. The species measures around 50 cm (20 in) in length, and is the smallest member of the genus Bycanistes.
