Bursera cerasiifolia Brandegee (also referenced as Bursera cerasifolia) is an uncommon North American tree species in the Frankincense Family, which falls within the soapwood order. This species has only been recorded in the state of Baja California Sur, located in northwestern Mexico. It grows as a shrub or small tree, reaching 4 to 8 meters in height. Its leaves are simple rather than compound, measure 4 to 6 cm long, and are typically clustered together at the tips of branches. The plant produces hairless, egg-shaped drupes.
