About Burmagomphus vermicularis (Martin, 1904)
Burmagomphus vermicularis, commonly known as the dog-legged clubtail, is a species of clubtail dragonfly. This species is found across East Asia. Within its range, confirmed occurrences include the southern Chinese provinces of Fujian, Guangdong, and Hainan, as well as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and mainland Malaysia. Ecological observations have documented that Burmagomphus vermicularis is hunted by Labrogomphus torvus, a larger dragonfly species.
