Bucculatrix thoracella, commonly known as the lime bent-wing, is a moth species that belongs to the family Bucculatricidae. It was first described in 1794 by Carl Peter Thunberg, who originally named it Tinea thoracella. This species can be found across most of Europe, with the exceptions of Ireland and the Balkan Peninsula. It is also present in Japan, where it occurs on the islands of Hokkaido and Honshu.
