About Buccinulum vittatum (Quoy & Gaimard, 1833)
This species, Buccinulum vittatum, has a shell that is approximately 25 millimeters in length. Buccinulum vittatum is endemic to New Zealand. It can be found all around the coasts of New Zealand, and its range extends as far south as the New Zealand subantarctic islands. This species was first formally documented in 1833 by Jean RenΓ© Constant Quoy and Joseph Paul Gaimard.
