Bromus ramosus Huds. is a perennial herbaceous bunchgrass that typically grows 1 to 2 metres (3 to 7 ft) tall. Its leaves are long, usually drooping, measuring 20โ€“50 cm (8โ€“20 in) long and 10โ€“15 mm (0.4โ€“0.6 in) wide, and covered in fine hairs. Its flower spike is gracefully arched, with pendulous spikelets that grow on long slender stems, arranged in pairs along the main stem.
