Brigantiaea leucoxantha (Spreng.) R.Sant. & Hafellner is a crustose lichen species that belongs to the family Brigantiaeaceae. German botanist Kurt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel first published this as a new species in 1820 under the name Lecidea leucoxantha. Rolf Santesson and Josef Hafellner moved the species to the genus Brigantiaea in 1982.
