About Brickellia rusbyi A.Gray
Brickellia rusbyi, commonly called the stinking brickellbush, is a North American flowering plant species that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is native to northern Mexico, specifically the states of Chihuahua and Sonora, as well as the southwestern United States, where it grows in New Mexico and Arizona. This plant is a branching shrub that grows from a woody base and can reach up to 120 centimeters (36 inches) in height. It produces many small flower heads, which contain yellow disc florets but have no ray florets. This species was named in honor of American botanist Henry Hurd Rusby, who lived from 1855 to 1940.
