About Brickellia laciniata A.Gray

Brickellia laciniata, commonly known as splitleaf brickellbush, is a North American flowering plant species belonging to the Asteraceae family. It is native to northeastern and north-central Mexico, where it occurs in the states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Durango, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, and Zacatecas, as well as to the southwestern United States, specifically southern New Mexico and western Texas. This species is a shrub that can grow up to 120 cm (48 inches) tall. It produces many small flower heads that contain yellow-green disc florets, and does not produce ray florets.
