(2013) found it in Blida, forêt de Lièges. Cardot (1904) noted it in Environs d’Alger, Bouzarea. Corbière (1904) reported it in Alger, propiété Braham Réis; Bois de Boulogne; Environs d’Alger, Birmandréis. Corbière (1904) and Jelenc (1955 a) recorded it in Batna, flanc nord du djebel Tougourth. Corbière (1904, 1905) and Jelenc (1955 a) found it in Constantine, djebel Ouach. Litschauer (1904) reported it in Chiffaschlucht at 200 m and Michelet at 1000 m. Litschauer (1904) and Jelenc (1955 a) recorded it in Col de Tirourda at 1700 m, Philippeville at 50 m, and Qued - Kebir bei Blidah at 200 m. Corbière (1905) noted it in Environs de Constantine, Le Hamma and Environs de Constantine, Les Pins. Corbière (1905) and Jelenc (1955 a) found it in Environs de Constantine, Menidj. Lapie (1909) reported it in Kabylie du Djurjura. Jelenc (1949, 1967) recorded it in Monts de Tlemcen, forêt de Zariflet at 1150 m. Jelenc (1953) noted it in Aurès, flanc nord du Chélia at 1800 m and Aurès, flanc nord du djebel Pharaoun at 1800 m. Jelenc (1953, 1967) found it in Bèlezma, cédraies de l’oued Chaba at 1400 m. Jelenc (1955 a) reported it in Aizer, Babor, Djebel Dira, Kabylie du Djurdjura, Michelet at 1000 m, Médéa, Monts de Constantine, djebel Chettaba. Bizot (1973) recorded it in Djebel Belezma, 15 km west of Batna. Ros et al. (1990) found it in Texenna’s wood at 700 m. Boukhatem et al. (2017) reported it in El - Kala National Park, Tonga lake watershed. The species is common.
