About Brachyiulus pusillus (Leach, 1814)

Brachyiulus pusillus is a species of millipede in the family Julidae. It is widespread across Europe, and has been introduced to islands around the world, continental South America, South Africa, and Oceania. It is potentially widespread in North America, though earlier records may have confused B. pusillus with the closely related B. lusitanus. This species is brownish-black, has 30–34 body segments, and has either light yellowish or reddish lines positioned closer to the center of its back. B. pusillus can be found on bushes and trees, and is also commonly found on walls or fences.
