Brachyglottis monroi, commonly called Monro's ragwort, has the synonym Senecio monroi. It is a plant species belonging to the family Asteraceae. It was formerly classified within the genus Senecio. This species is native to New Zealand and Tasmania. It is a small, hardy evergreen shrub that reaches a height of 1 metre (3 feet 3 inches). It has leathery, olive green leaves with crinkled edges. In summer, it produces yellow daisy-like flowers that grow in terminal corymbs.
