About Brachiacantha dentipes (Fabricius, 1801)
This species is Brachiacantha dentipes (Fabricius, 1801). Adult individuals of this species reach a body length between approximately 4.75 mm and 6.30 mm. Male Brachiacantha dentipes have a black pronotum, with yellow or orange coloring along the anterior margin and lateral areas. Female pronotum shape and general color pattern are similar to that of males, but the anterior margin of the female pronotum is black instead. Each elytron is black, marked with one orange or yellow apical spot and one median band.
