Bourreria succulenta Jacq. is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the family Ehretiaceae. This species is a tree, native to the Caribbean islands of Cuba, Hispaniola, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and the Lesser Antilles, as well as to Florida, southern Mexico, and northern Venezuela. It has several recognized synonyms, including Bourreria baccata and Bourreria velutina. Its common names are cherry, currant tree, poisonberry, chink, and bodywood.
