About Botrychium matricariifolium (Döll) A.Braun ex Koch

Botrychium matricariifolium, with an orthographic variant spelling B. matricariaefolium, is a fern species belonging to the Ophioglossaceae family. Its common names are chamomile grape-fern, daisyleaf grape-fern, and matricary grape-fern. This species is native to Europe and parts of eastern North America, which includes eastern Canada and parts of the United States. It is a fleshy fern that can grow up to 30 centimeters tall. It produces dull green sterile leaf blades that reach up to 10 centimeters long and 9 centimeters wide, and these blades are divided into a few pairs of segments. Its fertile leaves are slightly longer than the sterile blades and bear the spores.
