About Bothrostethus annulipes (Herrich-Schäffer, 1835)
Bothrostethus annulipes (Herrich-Schäffer, 1835) reaches a body length of about 9–10 millimetres (0.35–0.39 in). Its body is black-brown, with yellow spots on the connexivum. The margin of the pronotum is finely denticulate, and the prominent humeral tooth curves strongly outwards. A black median notch is present on the forward edge of the pronotum. The apex of the scutellum is pale, almost white. The tibias are yellow, and darken toward their tips. This species is closely similar in appearance to Centrocoris spiniger, Centrocoris variegatus, and Gonocerus insidiator. This species occurs across Europe, but is not present in the British Islands or any Nordic countries.
