About Bomarea multiflora (L.f.) Mirb.

Bomarea multiflora, commonly called the trailing lily, is a flowering plant species belonging to the alstroemeria family. This multi-stemmed vine is native to Colombia and Ecuador. It is classified as an invasive plant species in New Zealand, and is included on the country's National Pest Plant Accord. In temperate climates, it can be grown outdoors in a sheltered location, but cannot survive freezing conditions. It can alternatively be grown under glass. When cultivated in the United Kingdom, this plant has earned the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
