Bomarea edulis (Tussac) Herb., commonly known as salsilla, is a flowering plant species belonging to the alstroemeria family Alstroemeriaceae. It is native to the tropics of Mexico and the United States. This species is a deciduous climber that grows up to 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) in both height and width. It bears lanceolate leaves and clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers in pink, yellow, and green shades, with variable spotting. Flowers are produced throughout the summer.
