About Boloria aquilonaris (Stichel, 1908)
Boloria aquilonaris (Stichel, 1908) has a wingspan of 34 to 40 millimeters. The upper side of its wings is orange, with brown suffusion at the base and is decorated with various brown markings, including submarginal round spots and lines that form festoons. The underside of the forewing is lighter and more brightly colored, while the underside of the hindwing is reddish and bears silver spots.
