About Bolitoglossa platydactyla (Gray, 1831)
Bolitoglossa platydactyla (Gray, 1831) is a species of salamander in the family Plethodontidae. It is commonly called the broadfoot mushroomtongue salamander and the broad-footed salamander. This species is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats include subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, moist savanna, plantations, rural gardens, and urban areas. It is currently threatened by habitat loss.
