Boechera pulchra (M.E.Jones ex S.Watson) W.A.Weber is a long-lived perennial plant. It typically grows 300 to 750 mm (12 to 30 inches) tall from a woody base. Its flowers, which number 8 to 20, are most commonly purple, and rarely white. These flowers grow on a usually unbranched raceme. The plant's petals measure 9 to 16 mm (0.4 to 0.6 inches) in length and 2 to 5 mm (0.08 to 0.20 inches) in width. Its sepals are covered in hairs.
