Bigelowia nuttallii L.C.Anderson, commonly called Nuttall's rayless goldenrod, is a species of North American flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to the southern United States, where it occurs in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. This plant is a sub-shrub that grows up to 70 cm (28 inches) tall, and often forms clumps. Most of its leaves are arranged in a rosette near the ground, while smaller, narrower leaves grow along the stems. Its small yellow flower heads are arranged in flat-topped clusters; each flower head contains 2 to 6 disc florets and has no ray florets. It typically grows in sandy soil.
