Berzelia cordifolia Schltdl. is a shrub that belongs to the plant family Bruniaceae. This species is endemic to the Western Cape, where it grows as part of the fynbos vegetation. The plant's distribution ranges from the Potberg in the De Hoop nature reserve to the Breede River estuary at Infanta. Its total area of occurrence is 150 km², and it is currently divided into eight separate subpopulations. The species faces threats from invasive plants and coastal development.
