Belenois gidica, commonly known as the African veined white or pointed caper, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Pieridae. This species is found in the Afrotropical realm. The wingspan of males ranges from 40 to 55 millimetres (1.6 to 2.2 inches), while the wingspan of females ranges from 40 to 53 millimetres (1.6 to 2.1 inches). This butterfly has a flight period that occurs year-round. The larvae of Belenois gidica feed on plant species from the genera Boscia, Capparis, and Maerua.
