Begonia heracleifolia, commonly known as the star begonia, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Begoniaceae. It is native to Mexico and northern Central America, and has been introduced to Cuba, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad and Tobago. This widespread species is adapted to drought, and displays considerable genetic and morphological variation, especially in the shape and patterning of its leaves.
