About Bauera capitata Ser.
Bauera capitata Ser. is a shrub that usually grows up to 30 centimeters (12 inches) tall, and produces a small number of spreading branches. Its leaves are trifoliate, measuring 3 to 7 millimeters (0.12 to 0.28 inches) long and 1 to 2 millimeters (0.039 to 0.079 inches) wide, and typically have lobed edges. Each flower has four sepals that are 3 to 4 millimeters (0.12 to 0.16 inches) long, four deep pink petals 7 to 8 millimeters (0.28 to 0.31 inches) long, and 12 to 15 pink stamens. Flowering takes place in September and October. This species of Bauera grows in near-coastal habitats, ranging from south-eastern Queensland to Port Hacking in New South Wales.
