Baccharis angustifolia Michx., most commonly known as saltwater false willow or simply false willow, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is native to the Southeastern United States, where its range extends from Louisiana to North Carolina. This species grows as a shrub that can reach up to 400 cm (13 ft) in height. It has narrow, succulent leaves that grow up to 6 cm (2.4 in) long. It can be found growing on streambanks, in hammocks, and on coastal sand dunes.
