About Azochis rufidiscalis Hampson, 1904
Azochis rufidiscalis is a species of moth belonging to the family Crambidae. It was first described by George Hampson in 1904. This moth is found in the Bahamas, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the southeastern United States, where it has been recorded in Florida. The wingspan of Azochis rufidiscalis measures approximately 22 to 26 mm. Its forewings are white, with a blackish and rufous basal patch located in and beyond the end of the cell. A fuscous and rufous postmedial line runs across the forewings, and a triangular black mark appears on the termen. The hindwings are semihyaline white, with a patch of black scales near the tornus. Adult moths have been recorded on the wing during January to March, as well as in May, July, and September.
