Scientific name: Axion tripustulatum (De Geer, 1775). Adult individuals of this species reach a body length of approximately 5 to 7 millimeters. Adult Axion tripustulatum are primarily black, with a pale colored patch at the anterolateral angle of the pronotum. Each elytron has a red or yellow subhumeral spot, as well as a small sutural area.
