The blunt spire displays transverse black lines and oblique longitudinal striae. The columella is subtuberculate. The smooth lip is black, with a golden yellow margin on its inner side. This is a marine species that is endemic to Australia, and it can be found off the coasts of South Australia and Western Australia.
