Attagenus trifasciatus (Fabricius, 1787) is a species of carpet beetle that belongs to the subfamily Attageninae and the family Dermestidae. Confirmed populations of this species are recorded from multiple locations in Europe and Africa. In Europe, confirmed records come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, introduced populations in England, France, introduced populations in Germany, Italy, Monaco, introduced populations in Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, and Portugal. In Africa, confirmed records are from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia. The species may possibly be present in Chad and Israel.
