About Atriplex lindleyi Moq.
Atriplex lindleyi Moq. can grow as an annual or perennial herb. It produces brittle, scaly whitish stems that are either erect or spreading, reaching lengths between 10 and 40 centimetres (3.9 and 15.7 in). Its leaves are greenish white and scaly, often have toothed edges, and range in shape from widely lance-shaped to diamond-shaped. Leaves grow up to 3 or 4 centimetres (1.2 or 1.6 in) long. Male flowers grow in leaf axils or in spikelike inflorescences. Female flowers are generally found in small clusters located below male clusters in the leaf axils. The female inflorescence has spongy bracteoles that measure up to 1 centimetre (0.39 in) long and are inflated around the flowers.
