Atractylodes lancea (Thunb.) DC. is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. Its synonyms include Atractylodes chinensis, Atractylodes japonica, and Atractylodes ovata. In Japanese it is called okera (romanized from オケラ), with the common names Eastern ukera and ukira. This species is native to Vietnam, most of China, Korea, the southern Russian Far East, and Japan. It is the source of cāng zhú (蒼朮), a Chinese herbal medicine sold for use by people with a variety of ailments.
