It produces slender stems that reach a maximum length of 30 centimeters, and usually stay shorter than this. Its leaves are less than 4 centimeters long, and each leaf is made up of several oblong leaflets that are only a few millimeters in length. The plant's inflorescence holds up to 15 purple-tinted white flowers, and each flower is generally less than 6 millimeters long. The leafy stem tissue of the inflorescence is covered in black hairs. The plant produces fruit as a tiny rounded or oval legume pod, that is only a few millimeters long.
