About Aspidoscelis laredoensis (Mckinney, Kay & Anderson, 1973)
Aspidoscelis laredoensis, commonly known as the Laredo striped whiptail, is a slender-bodied lizard with a long tail. Adults of this species grow to between 6 and 11 inches in total length. Its body is dark green or dark brown overall, marked with seven yellow or white stripes that run continuously from the head down to the tail. The underside of the lizard is white.
