Asphondylia rudbeckiaeconspicua is a species of gall midge belonging to the family Cecidomyiidae. Larvae of this species induce the formation of galls on Rudbeckia laciniata, and this species occurs in North America. It was first formally described by Carl Robert Osten-Sacken in 1878.
