About Ascodichaena rugosa Butin

Ascodichaena rugosa is a fungus species that belongs to the family Ascodichaenaceae. Carl Linnaeus first scientifically described it as a new species in 1753, under the name Lichen rugosum. In 1977, Heinz Butin moved this species to the newly established genus Ascodichaena, where it is the type species.
