About Artemisia indica Willd.

Artemisia indica, commonly called Indian wormwood, is a widely distributed flowering plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is native to the Indian Subcontinent (excluding Bangladesh), mainland Southeast Asia, most of China (excluding the Xinjiang and Qinghai regions), Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea, the Ryukyu Islands, and Japan, and it has been introduced to Peninsular Malaysia. In its wild state, it usually grows alongside roads, on slopes, at forest edges, and in scrublands, occurring at elevations below 2,000 m (6,600 ft).
