Aroga compositella (Walker, 1864) has a wingspan of 15 to 16 mm. Its forewings are a deep purplish black color, with five distinct pure white markings. These markings are: an outwardly oblique costal white streak located near the base that extends to the fold; an elliptical white spot on the middle of the wing; an angulate white costal spot at the start of the cilia; a small opposite dorsal white spot; and a small white dot on the fold, positioned below and forward of the central spot.
