About Arnica griscomii Fernald

Arnica griscomii Fernald is a species of flowering plant in the sunflower family. It is native to eastern Russia, northwestern North America (including Alaska, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories), and eastern Canada (including Quebec and Newfoundland). It has the common name snow arnica. Two subspecies are recognized. Arnica griscomii subsp. frigida (C.A.Mey. ex Iljin) S.J.Wolf occurs in Alaska, western Canada, and eastern Russia. Arnica griscomii subsp. griscomii is found in Quebec and Newfoundland.
