Arnica angustifolia Vahl is an Arctic and alpine plant species belonging to the sunflower family. It has two common names: narrowleaf arnica and Arctic arnica. This species is native to colder regions across Europe, Asia, and North America, specifically ranging through northern and western Canada, Alaska, and the northern Rocky Mountains. It is a perennial herb that can grow up to 16 inches (41 centimetres) in height. Its natural native habitats are bare, rocky slopes and alpine summits.
