Armina scotti, described in 2017 by Mehrotra, Caballer and Chavanich, has a black dorsal surface marked with yellow ridges. It typically displays three yellow blotch-like spots on its body, along with a blue and yellow submarginal band, and an overall yellow and black striped appearance. Mature individuals reach approximately 35 mm (1.4 inches) in length, and have up to four rows of teeth. This species has been recorded in Thailand, the Philippines, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia.
