Arkys cornutus, commonly known as the horned triangular spider, is a common Australian spider that belongs to the family Arkyidae. It is an ambush hunter, most often found resting on leaves and ferns. Its front two pairs of legs are large and spined, adapted for grabbing small insects, while its rear pairs of legs are smaller. Males are smaller in body length than females, reaching around 9 millimetres (0.35 in). The body colour ranges from yellow or orange to red, with pale spots on its heart-shaped abdomen.
