About Aristelliger praesignis (Hallowell, 1856)

Dorsally, Aristelliger praesignis is brown with darker markings and white dots. Ventrally, the species is whitish. It can reach a maximum snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 9.6 cm (3.8 in), with a tail that reaches 13 cm (5.1 in) in length. Aristelliger praesignis occurs in Jamaica, including the Bogue Islands, the Morant Cays, and the Pedro Cays, and it is also found in the Cayman Islands. This species is oviparous.
