About Arisaema murrayi (J.Graham) Hook.

Arisaema murrayi (J.Graham) Hook., commonly known as Murray's cobra lily or snake lily, is a species of flowering plant. It receives its common name because its flower often resembles the hood of a cobra snake. Within the Indian subcontinent, Arisaema murrayi is primarily distributed across Himalayan regions and the Western Ghats. It typically grows as understory vegetation in hilly forests and on gentle open slopes among shrubs, and is especially abundant in Mahabaleshwar. This species grows at altitudes between 600 and 1200 meters above sea level.
