About Arisaema acuminatum Small

Arisaema acuminatum Small is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant that grows from a corm. Like other species in the Arisaema triphyllum complex, each of its leaves has three leaflets. The plant's spathe hood is entirely green, measures over twice as long as it is broad, and ends in a distinctly long-acuminate tip. This species is primarily found in Central Florida, which gives it the common name Florida Jack-in-the-pulpit. Its range extends south into the Florida peninsula and north along the coastal region of eastern Georgia. There have been unconfirmed claims that the species also grows in east Texas.
