Argyresthia cupressella, commonly known as the cypress tip moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Yponomeutidae. This species is originally endemic to the western coast of the United States and Canada, but has since been introduced to Europe. The wingspan of adult cypress tip moths measures 8–9 mm. Adults are active in flight from June to July, with timing varying based on location. The larvae of this moth feed on plant species from the genera Chamaecyparis, Cupressocyparis, Thuja, Sequoia and Juniperus.
