About Ardeadoris scottjohnsoni Bertsch & Gosliner, 1989

This species of nudibranch, Ardeadoris scottjohnsoni, has a white body and a mantle border edged in yellow. Its gills have white bases and black tips, while its rhinophores have transparent bases and black clubs marked with a thin vertical electric-blue line. This nudibranch reaches a maximum total length of 30 mm, or 1.2 inches. The species was first described from specimens collected in Hawaii, and current evidence indicates it is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands.
