Ardeadoris egretta Rudman, 1984 is a white nudibranch slug that has a yellow border, and reaches an adult length of approximately 12 centimeters (4.7 inches). This species is found in tropical habitats at depths ranging from 1 meter to 1,014 meters (3 feet 3 inches to 3,326 feet 9 inches). It was first described from specimens collected at Escape Reef and other sites along Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Its known distribution includes the Indian Ocean, tropical Western Pacific, and the specific countries/regions of Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Solomon Islands.
