About Arctotis stoechadifolia P.J.Bergius

Arctotis stoechadifolia, commonly known as the African daisy or white arctotis, is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae family that is native to South Africa. It is a rare species restricted to its native habitat of sand dunes along the West coast of Cape Province. This plant has also been introduced to New Zealand. Some sources treat this species as the same taxon as the far more common, widely cultivated Arctotis venusta, but most taxonomic authors recognize the two as separate distinct species.
